Our Story

Two baristas, one very good espresso machine.

Mara Voss and Tom Reilly ran a coffee cart at Burleigh Point for two winters before Tidal Grounds opened its doors in 2019 — Mara on the pass, Tom on the roast. The promise hasn't changed since: never rush a flat white, never plate a dish you wouldn't order twice.

Beans come from Salt & Stone Roasters in Currumbin, bread from Miller & Vine up the road, and eggs from small farms in the Currumbin Valley. Everything else changes with what's good that week.
